ABOUT RIPPLE EFFECT

Ripple Effect Arts Festival is a countywide celebration of creativity taking place April 16-26, 2026.

The vision is simple: to connect and celebrate the vibrant arts of Santa Cruz County while expanding access for all. Designed for all ages, the festival invites locals and visitors alike to explore and engage with the arts at venues and organizations across the county.

In April of 2026, the Santa Cruz County arts community came together for an exciting new 11-day celebration showcasing the region’s vibrant creative landscape. Planning has begun for 2027!

The festival features performances, exhibitions, workshops, and interactive events across the county, the Ripple Effect Arts Festival will again invite all ages to experience the power of art while discovering the talent, creativity, and hospitality that make this a world-class destination.

Born from a shared belief in the arts as a force for community and economic vitality, the festival creates opportunities for collaboration, visibility, and support for local artists and organizations. Grassroots and volunteer-driven, it’s powered by dedicated community partners.

Timed with California’s Arts, Culture & Creativity Month, the festival highlighted Santa Cruz County as a cultural destination - drawing visitors from across the region while supporting local artists, small businesses, and cultural organizations.Through diverse programming and partnerships, Ripple Effect made the arts accessible, strengthens community connections, and is now positioned to grow into a lasting annual tradition.
