We're excited to offer an Earth Day and Eco-Art Extravaganza to correspond not only with Santa Cruz's city-wide Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 18th, but also during the Ripple Effect Arts Festival. A true collaboration between upcycled artist Asha of Lil Jax Creations and the artist collective, River Studio at the Tannery, our Earth Day celebration has become an annual Tannery program staple. 

Our proposed event includes a San Lorenzo River Cleanup, eco-arts activities and vendors, live music, a nature-inspired parade from the Tannery to downtown, and our yearly community exhibition: Many Faces of the San Lorenzo River. Rooted in creativity, community, and sustainability, our Earth Day celebration is open to all and would be a great location/event for inclusion in Ripple Effect Festival's month-long roster of events!
